Dive into Dubai’s latest wonder – The Lost World Aquarium at Atlantis
Experience 14 interactive rooms and over 65,000 marine creatures
DUBAI is about to get an awe-inspiring new attraction as Atlantis, The Palm prepares to unveil The Lost World Aquarium on October 27.
The iconic destination has completely transformed its famed Lost Chambers Aquarium into a cutting-edge underwater experience that fuses storytelling, marine life and technology.
The reimagined attraction features 14 interactive themed rooms and over 1,900 LED panels alongside 55 projectors, immersing visitors in a fantasy-inspired ocean world.
The Lost World Aquarium
Guests will journey through vibrant marine habitats featuring over 65,000 creatures, including 430 new marine animals across 35 species such as the Striated Frogfish, Axolotl, and Giant Pacific Octopus. The attraction also introduces 19 new marine environments, designed to showcase the ocean’s diversity.

One of its highlights is the live mermaid performance “Return of the Trident”, staged several times a day in the 10-metre-deep Ambassador Lagoon, one of the largest open-air aquariums in the Middle East and Africa.
At the heart of the innovation is the Interactive Trident, a take-home upgrade that unlocks over 20 additional experiences inside the aquarium — from secret messages to multi-sensory effects. Every marine zone features digital displays and interactive storytelling elements, all aimed at making education about ocean life more engaging.

The Lost World Aquarium is also accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, underscoring its commitment to animal care and ocean conservation.
Free entry for Atlantic guests
Located within Aquaventure World, home to the world’s largest waterpark, the new aquarium will be open daily from 10am to 9pm. Entry is free for Atlantis guests, while tickets for external visitors are priced at Dh85 for children and Dh105 for adults.
And if you’re looking to take your visit to the next level, Atlantis, The Palm will host an exclusive New Year’s Eve gala dinner with Maroon 5, promising an unforgettable celebration to welcome 2026 in true Dubai style.
